Lace up your sneakers and hit the ground running in Greensboro! Discover our iconic routes, meet new friends, and break a sweat. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, there’s a place for everyone to feel welcomed.

RuntheBoro: RuntheBoro is a Free Group run that will be held each Saturday in May & June. Runs will be 5-10 miles in length and will explore the various greenways and neighborhoods of downtown Greensboro and the surrounding area. All paces are welcome, Walkers too! There will be pace group leaders to help guide runners through the routes. The runs will start at 7:00 a.m. from varying locations.

Buffalo Creek Run Club: Sub-Elite Race Team built from Buffalo Creek Running Company based out of Greensboro’s Westerwood Neighborhood and surrounding areas. The group fosters a lifelong fulfillment from running with a focus on competitive racing. Members range from aspiring to world-class athletes; running 5ks through ultra-distance events. They typically participate in Brewery runs Tuesdays and Thursdays with long runs on the Weekends. Race records for the club are recognized when wearing a Buffalo Creek Running Club kit.

Oden Brewery Run Club: Every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., Buffalo Creek Running Company hosts inclusive runs welcoming all speeds and distances. After the run, participants can enjoy drinks, trivia, and a raffle where one or more individuals receive prizes from supportive local businesses. Additionally, every Tuesday, the group raffles off two free meals from Taco Bros Food Truck. Buffalo Creek Running Company is affiliated with Random Runners, organizing races, events, and social hangouts together.

Hidden Gate Brewery Run Club: The Hidden Gate Brewery Run Club is open to both seasoned runners and those just starting out. This weekly event offers the perfect opportunity to meet fellow running enthusiasts and enhance your fitness. The club meets every Monday at 6:15 p.m. at the Hidden Gate Brewery (102 Barnhardt Street, Greensboro, NC). Upon completing the run, enjoy a complimentary beverage.

The SouthEnd Run Club: SouthEnd Run Club meets every Thursday at their namesake location, The SouthEnd Brewery, at 6:00 p.m. to run at 6:30 p.m. and enjoy delicious local craft beer. They’re open to everyone of all levels of ability and work to foster an open, welcoming group that encourages everyone to get active and connected.

Natty Greene’s Brewery Run Club: The Natty Greene’s Run Club is for all things running and Natty Greene’s! They welcome everyone of all abilities to run or walk with them every Wednesday at 6:15 p.m., starting from their namesake location, Natty Greene’s in Downtown Greensboro.

Little Brother Brewery Run Club 

Little Brother Brewing’s Run Club is for runners or walkers of all levels.  Established in 2018, the club is meant for mental and physical wellness for all people interested in sweating and laughing more. They meet every Tuesday at 6 p.m. and begin moving at 6:15 p.m. Join for a casual environment to make friends and get active.

Downtown Greenway Run Club: The Thursday evening running/walking group starts at 6 p.m. at LoFi Park, situated in front of Joymongers at 500 N. Eugene St., Greensboro. Runners typically cover a distance of 4 miles, while walkers have the option of walking 2-4 miles. Participants in this group maintain a variety of paces, accommodating both runners and walkers.

Blueliners: The Blueliners running group meets at 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays and at 5:55 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They start their runs from 3802 Jaycee Park Dr., Greensboro, NC. On Saturdays, they run an out-and-back route along the Atlantic & Yadkin Greenway toward Strawberry Road, covering either 8 or 11 miles. Tuesdays and Thursdays feature a 4-5 mile run starting at 5:55 a.m., with some participants walking. They aim to finish by 7 a.m. Paces vary, with faster runners aiming for 8 minutes per mile and others up to 10 minutes per mile, including walkers.

Downtown Dashers: The Dashers running group meets at Bryan Family YMCA, 501 W. Market St., Greensboro, at 5 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at varied locations at 6 a.m. on Saturdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they cover distances ranging from 3 to 6.5 miles, incorporating hills, steps, plyometrics, stairs, and track exercises. Saturdays feature long runs with a variety of distances.

The group’s pace ranges from six minutes per mile to utilizing the Galloway run-walk method. They start together and then break into smaller groups based on pace. The Dashers adhere to COVID guidelines regarding masks and distancing and utilize the buddy system for safety.

Fleet Feet Rock Runners: The Rock Runners group begins at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays in Greensboro and Thursdays in High Point, starting from various locations. Distances range from 3 to 8 miles, accommodating both runners and walkers. Paces vary, with faster runners averaging 10-12 minutes per mile, while most run at around 12+ minutes per mile. Walkers are welcome, and there’s usually someone running at a similar pace to yours. After the run, freeze pops are provided as a refreshing treat.

Greensboro Running Club: The running club meets at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesdays at Steel Hands Brewing and at 9 a.m. on Saturdays at Spencer Love Tennis Center. Tuesday runs cover 2 and 4 miles, while Saturdays vary in distance. All paces are welcome, including walkers, and membership is not required. The club hosts eight-week run series on Tuesday nights around Greensboro. Founded in 1976, it offers membership benefits such as race discounts and social events.

Terminal Tap Run Club: Join the Terminal Tap Run Club every Wednesday at 6 p.m. at 2800 Lawndale Dr., Suite 104, Greensboro. Routes vary weekly for 3-4 miles at a pace of 9:30-12 minutes per mile. All ages and fitness levels, along with dogs and jogging strollers, are welcome. After the run, enjoy half off wines by the glass and a quarter off wines by the bottle. Plus, earn rewards like complimentary drinks, T-shirts, and hats with a custom punch card based on attendance and social engagement.

Tuesday Night Track Group: Join the Greensboro Track Tuesdays at 6 p.m. starting at Marcus T. Johnson Track, Truist Stadium, N.C. A&T, East Lindsay and Sullivan streets. Runners of all levels and paces, including walkers, are welcome. Whether you’re training for a race or seeking a social exercise opportunity, the group accommodates diverse goals. Each week, an email outlines suggested workouts, but participants are free to choose their distance and pace. The world-class track offers nearby water and restroom facilities. The focus is on enjoying a good workout in a supportive community environment.
